ALUMNI

Our impact extends beyond our nation’s cities to the college campuses that develop our nation’s future leaders. Project HEALTH volunteers do real work, making a real impact, partnering with physicians and advocates working on the ground level, seeing the multitude of challenges facing low-income communities. Inspired by children and mentors, and building from their foundation of skills and experiences, Project HEALTH volunteers often begin a life-long commitment to low-income families. Project HEALTH is far more than a program; it is a beginning to a life as a leader for social change.

Project HEALTH proves transformational for its undergraduate volunteers. As Project HEALTH alumna, and current Johns Hopkins Medical School and School of Public Health Student Muriel Jean-Jacques explains, “Put simply, my involvement in Project HEALTH has not only deepened my commitment to public service, but also motivated me to a become a public leader and public actor.”
